Klondike is played mostly in American casinos. This game resembles Indian dice to a large extent. In this game, the banker rolls the dice. The aim is to beat the combination previously thrown. But only a single throw is permitted. The ranks in Descending order are 1, 6, 5, 4, 3, and 2. The player is then supposed to roll the dice. If the combination thrown by the player matches the combination thrown by the banker, the banker gets to win. The player will get the stake back. The winning combinations go like this (Five of a kind), (Four of a kind), (Full house i.e. three of a kind along with a pair), (Three of a kind), (two pairs) and (one pair). These were stated in descending order of winning combinations. Klondike has also been introduced in many variations. When this game is played in the casino, ten dice are used on the table. The bets are made on the sections of the table layout. These sections are marked as the win section, the lose section and the beat two aces sections. First the player is supposed to roll 5 dice. There are certain combinations depending upon the section of the board.
